1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BidRadar ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BidRadar is a Chrome browser extension that helps users discover deals on government, police, and estate auction websites. The Service includes:

  • Browsing aggregated auction listings from multiple sites
  • Creating watchlist alerts for specific keywords
  • Receiving notifications when matching items are found
  • Viewing estimated market values for potential resale

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

BidRadar offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide additional features as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of paid plans. A valid payment method is required to start a trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged.

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Account panel in the extension. Upon cancellation:

  • You retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
  • Use the Service to harass, spam, or harm others

6. Third-Party Auction Sites

BidRadar aggregates listings from third-party auction websites. We are not affiliated with these sites and:

  • Do not guarantee the accuracy of listing information
  • Are not responsible for transactions on third-party sites
  • Do not control the availability or terms of third-party auctions
  • Recommend you verify all information before bidding

7. Market Value Estimates

The "Flip Score" and market value features provide estimates based on eBay sold listings and other data sources. These estimates:

  • Are for informational purposes only
  • Do not guarantee actual resale prices
  • May not reflect current market conditions
  • Should not be your sole basis for purchasing decisions

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, and content, is owned by BidRadar and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Listing data will be accurate or complete
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • Any errors will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIDRADAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:

  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • Damages from third-party auction transactions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BidRadar from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ends immediately
  • We may delete your account data
  • Provisions that should survive (liability, indemnification) will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your State/Jurisdiction].
